Research and Planning: Filming

In today's lesson me and Steph went out to do some filming to be the start of our teaser trailer to introduce the storyline. We got a group of actors together and went and filmed around a table to show that they are mates. The shot was at a medium long shot at eye level of them talking about a ouji board.

Research and Planning: Group Meeting Regarding Feedback

With the other people in my class commenting on my film poster I have had a meeting with my group on how we need to change our idea to make it better. For my film poster I need to add a main picture to it to make the poster stand out more. Also I need to consider changing the colour of the title to make it stand out more. For my film magazine I have took into account the feedback and now need to add the picture from the film to the front cover.

For the test shots we took pictures of Steph where she would be possessed in on of the scenes in the trailer.

We took pictures of three different locations of the area where we would like to film. They were three different churches that looked completely different. I think that the church that we will be using will be the second one as we was able to walk around the church which will be useful for the filming.

In today's lesson we got the other groups to watch our teaser trailer, so they could evaluate and feedback there thoughts to our group; either positive or negative. This then will help us see what we need to change or keep in the teaser trailer

With this feedback we decided to make the teaser trailer shorter and added more characters to the film.

The representation for our teaser trailer is of young people and how they give in to peer pressure. Also it is about religious beliefs and daemons and devils.

In this lesson I changes my film magazine as I added some more films to the magazine at the bottom of the page. I need to now:

• Add a main picture to the magazine
• Change the main title so it fits the page
• Get pictures of the little films at the bottom
• Add layers to the title of the magazine

Research and Planning: Film Poster second draft

In this lesson I took some more pictures to add to the film poster. I made the background a long shot of the church that we were using. I added the font to the title of the film and added and outer glow to it to make it stand out more. I added the some characters name at the top one of which is Steph who will be the main character, but the other two are just made up for the moment as we have not yet began to film the storyline to the teaser trailer. I changed the layout of the poster as I originally wanted the name of the film at the bottom of the page but as the church is lighter at the top I had to change it to the top of the page so it would stand out more.

Today I began to start designing my film poster for the teaser trailer. I added the name and the slogan to the piece and added the cinema release date and the names of the characters which will be played in the film. I also took a large picture of Steph which will be the main picture of my poster as she is the main character. I want the background to be of the church, either the whole church in the distance or apart of the wall to show that it is old and looks scary.
